History

This site was started in December 2000, with a crappy design and with barely any information on a server called "stas.net". Stas.net abruptly, and without telling anyone, shut down and I was forced to move (around 2001). Then I reopened the site on angelfire.com. Terrible mistake. At first, angelfire seemed fine and I even found a code to keep ads and popups off my site. Too bad that two years later, they took the liberty of inserting ad codes within the html, so I could no longer use my code. I still stayed and went through every page in order to fix what angelfire messed up. Soon after this, they bombarded my site with endless ads, along with the popups, which then messed up my frames. I finally lost my temper and left them for my Waterbearer.net.

Where?

Waterbearer.net was purchased from Domain Registry of America back in 2003. Currently, my server space is being hosted by the wonderful people of 1121.org.

Name

My first name for the site was "The Land of the Forsaken". I never really knew why I picked that particular name, probably the stupidity of youth. When I finally decided to get my own site that was the first thing to go (what did Land of the Forsaken have to do with any content on my site?). So, after debating some names, my sister suggested "waterbearer" because my sign is Aquarius, or "the Water Bearer". Kinda sticks.
